CSV Templates

Download a starter template for your DMS, export the matching report, and drag it into the Sync page. CoreBack maps the columns automatically.

One import, no DMS login needed

Export a CSV from your DMS using the path listed below, then drag it to App → Sync → Import. CoreBack maps columns automatically for Tekmetric, Shop-Ware, and Mitchell 1 — or you can set a custom mapping once and save it.

Per-DMS sync guides

Need the workflow, not just the file? Each DMS now has a dedicated core-return guide with mapping notes, worked examples, common import errors, and a direct handoff into CoreBack signup.

General notes

Date formats accepted: MM/DD/YYYY, YYYY-MM-DD, DD/MM/YYYY. CoreBack auto-detects the format.
Dollar amounts: strip the $ sign. Both "45.00" and "45" are valid.
Extra columns in your CSV are silently ignored — you don't need to clean the export before importing.
Dedup key: bag_label is used to prevent re-importing the same row. If absent, invoice_number + part_number is used.
Missing due_date defaults to invoice_date + 30 days. Override it after import from the shelf view.
Status values: open, returned, confirmed, expired, voided. Defaults to open on import.

Using a different DMS?

Select "Custom" in the Sync page column mapper. You'll see a drag-and-drop interface to match your CSV headers to CoreBack fields. Save the mapping as a template so future imports are one-click.
